1. Data We Collect
When you use Mind Ur Step, we may collect the following data: account information (email, name, nickname, profile picture via Google OAuth); game data (match history, statistics, achievements, collectibles, ranking positions); interaction data (messages sent to the AI chatbot); and technical data (IP address, browser user-agent, pages visited, and referral source). Theme, accessibility, and language preferences are stored locally in your browser (localStorage).
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to: provide and maintain the service (authentication, game progress, rankings); improve the experience (aggregated usage analysis, bug fixing); process Premium subscription payments; and personalize AI chatbot assistance.
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate Mind Ur Step: Stripe for payment processing (we do not store credit card data); Google OAuth for social authentication (we only receive email, name, and profile picture). Each service has its own privacy policy.
4. AI-Powered Chatbot
The chat assistant uses external artificial intelligence providers to process your messages and generate responses. Messages are sent to these providers for processing, without including personally identifiable data beyond the message content itself. No AI provider permanently stores your messages.
5. Analytics & Local Storage
We collect browsing data (pages visited, game events) for internal analysis and service improvement. We use browser localStorage for preferences and session data. We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies.
6. Data Retention
Account and game history data are kept as long as your account is active. Access tokens expire in 4 hours and refresh tokens in 7 days. Analytics sessions are kept for statistical purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

In accordance with applicable data protection laws (including Brazil's LGPD), you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; request portability of your data; and revoke your consent at any time. 9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
10. Cognitive Analysis (Premium)
Premium subscribers may opt in to the Cognitive Report, a statistical analysis of your gameplay performance. Collection for this report requires explicit consent (LGPD-aligned): tracking only starts after you accept on the /report screen. We collect timing between moves, outcomes (win/loss, time), hint usage, and mode/difficulty. We do NOT collect audio, camera, screen recordings, keystrokes outside the game, or data from other apps. You can revoke consent and erase all report data at any time by clicking "Erase everything" — your game history is preserved for other features.
